Obituary:
Jamie Sue Elliott, age 39, of Leighton, passed away January 23, 2018. Visitation will be Friday, January 26, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 1:00 in the funeral home chapel with President Gary Pettus officiating. Burial will be at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery. Jamie was a devoted wife and mother. She loved flowers and gardening. At Russellville Middle School and High School, she excelled in basketball and softball. She is survived by her husband, Brian Elliott; children, Tristan Whitlock (Stephanie), Trevor Whitlock and Austin Elliott; father, Johnny Vickery (Pat); mother, Kathy Smith; brothers, Marty Beasley (Amber), and Jason Smith; sister, Crystal Beasley; parents-in-law, David and Bobbie Elliott; brother-in-law, Brad Elliott (Amber); sister-in-law, Alecia Fisher (Rodney); and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Tristan Whitlock, Trevor Whitlock, Darren Elliott, Zach Young, Will Young and Blaine Ford. Austin Elliott will serve as honorary pallbearer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy; grandson, Tony Minch, Jr.; granddaughter, Meredith Minch; and daughter-in-law, Robin Minch. She is survived by her children, Dennis Minch (Jan), Tony Minch, David Minch, Brenda Woehler (Kurt), Richard Minch (Sherry) and Cindy Minch; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requdsts donation be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital.
