Funerals serve an important purpose: they allow us to recognize a life that was lived and acknowledge that the life has come to an end. Funerals exist for the living, for survivors who suffer the loss of a loved one.

We understand that every family is different. Influences such as religious and cultural traditions, cost concerns and personal preferences make each funeral as unique as the person who is being honored. This section of our web site provides an overview of the different types of services that we provide. Our funeral directors will discuss the many other options and details that make each of our services a personal, lasting tribute to your loved one.

Funeral Options

The following is an overview of the different types of funeral services that we provide:

Traditional Service
A traditional funeral service includes a viewing or visitation, a formal funeral service (at the funeral home, local church or location of your choice) and the necessary automotive equipment, such as a hearse to transport the body to the funeral site and cemetery. It is customary to purchase items such as a memorial register book, memorial folders and acknowledgement cards. Floral tributes are often displayed and you are encouraged to bring in photographs and other memorabilia to further personalize the service.

Graveside Service
A graveside service is held at the burial site. This service may be limited to the immediate family or open to all. After the service, there are options for a memorial service at the funeral home chapel, church or venue of choice.

Memorial Service
A memorial service is conducted without the body present and can vary in ceremony and procedures. It can be held at the funeral home or at a location of your choice. In order to create a memorial service that is as unique as your loved one, we encourage you to help personalize the service with memorabilia, photographs and other personal items.

Cremation Options

Cremation offers a variety of choices, from a simple gathering to an elaborate, traditional ceremony. No matter what you choose, we will help create an experience that fits the needs of your family. The following is an overview of the different types of cremation options that we provide. Our funeral directors will discuss the many other options and details that make each of our cremation services a personal, lasting tribute to your loved one.

Traditional Cremation Service
Our funeral home chapel is available for different types of services, from traditional religious ceremonies to contemporary gatherings. A traditional cremation service may include a viewing or visitation, a formal service (at the funeral home, local church or other venue) and any necessary automotive equipment. Memorial register books, memorial folders and acknowledgement cards may be purchased, and floral tributes are often displayed. We encourage our families to bring photographs and other memorabilia to further personalize the service.

Graveside Service
A graveside service or gathering is held at the burial site or columbarium where the cremated remains are interred. This can be arranged separately or in conjunction with a memorial service.

Memorial Service
A Memorial Service may be planned at the funeral home or at a location of your choice. Memorial registry books, service folders, flag cases and personal memorabilia can be used to further personalize the memorial.
