RIP Jason. A great guy, a caring person and true professional. Will be greatly missed.
One of the best guys I ever worked with! Truly one of the good guys and will be missed.
Sympathy to his family and the Florence Police Dept. Gone to soon. RIP Jason.
My heart goes out to Jay’s family and friends.
We’ve been friends for over 30 years, I was even a groom’s-girl in his wedding.
Anyone who knows him absolutely loved him.
He was the brightest light any room.
Thank you to his brothers and sisters in blue.
God bless you all.
Jason Novak, was a great officer and a good man, he never met a stranger, and he always loved his animals and he will be missed by alot of people and I pray that the good Lord watches over his lawenforcement family and his other family, God bless him and I pray for him to Rest in Peace .
Jay – its been a week since you were called home. I still haven’t accepted this. I fully expect a call saying “Novak is in town, meeting at Barker’s at 6”. We will celebrate you with different events at some of your favorite places. We will laugh and cry knowing you gave us one more gift – you are bringing all of us friends back together. Thank you my friend! You will forever be in my heart.
I’m sure Jay has already conned St. Peter out of a big block Corvette, and is on his way to Dick’s Bar in Wisconsin for a burger! I’ve known Jay since we were kids, and there’s never been a more fun-loving guy than him. I already miss him dearly!
So very sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed meeting and getting to know Jason; he always had a cheerful smile on his face, that I will miss greatly.
Jason was a friend and neighbor. As a Patrol Officer, he watched over all of us. As an FPD Officer and animal advocate, he was compassionate. He could often be seen walking 3 – 4 dogs on lead around the Circle. You know, I still can feel his presence when I look out my front windows. Deepest Sympathy goes out to his family and FPD. He is deeply missed.
