Jean Dickey Hanback, age 84, of Florence, passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2020. Services are private.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Geneva Dickey; son, James Cloyd Howard, Jr.; brothers, Samson, Ellis and Walter; and sister, Paulette Hetrick.
Survivors include her children, Mike Howard, Darlene Green (Walter), and Jeff Hanback; grandchildren, Quenton, Mitch, Katy, Maggie, Jacob, Jessica, and Blake; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Landon, Ava, Weston, Hudson and Annie; many nieces and nephews; and her dog Biscuit, whom she loved dearly.
Jean was a member of Mt. Tabor Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who dedicated her life to caring for her family.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Tracy Hill for her loving care.
