David Wayne Haney, age 76, of Florence passed away Friday, May 14, 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Haney was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Floyd Haney; mother, Sarah Hunt Haney; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Potts; & brothers, Lowell and O’Neal Haney

 He is survived by his son: Michael Haney (Dawn)

Sisters: Katherine Word (Billy)  and Connie Catlett (Ray)

10 Grandchildren: Jacob, Regan, Zach, Abbie, Russell, & Nick , Lilly, Khole, Samantha, Emily

3 Great-Grandchildren: Rylan, Addilyn, & Robbie

Mr. Haney enjoyed crappie fishing, duck hunting, and especially some ‘Auburn” football. He also loved spending time with his family and his cat “Boots”
