Darean Martin, age 69, of Florence, Alabama, passed away June 24, 2021. Visitation will be Monday, June 28, 2021 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home Chapel and Funeral will start at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Graham Cemetery at Harmony Methodist Church.
Darean was preceded in death by her parents, Avie and Cecil Smith; sisters, Elizabeth Kelly, Betty Cottingham, Shirley S. Roden and Rhonda Smith; brothers, David Smith, Royl Smith, James Smith; son, Aaron (Shawn) Box; grandchild, Steven Norton.
Survivors include her children, Donald Norton, Angie Box and Scottie Box; siblings, Debbie Parmley, Connie Smith, Billy Smith and Jack Smith, Sr.; grandchildren, Shayla Vinson, Brooklyn Box, Eli Box, Jalisa Box, Billy Norton, Stacy Norton, Alexis Box and Taleah Talent; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Darean’s favorite thing to do was spending time with her grandchildren and family. She also enjoyed attending church and coloring.

To the Darean Smith family ,I’m sorry for your loss . I’ve known Darean a little over eleven years and over that period of time she never changed. She would tell
you exactly how she felt. She loved to jam her Gospel and didn’t care who it bothered. She was a strong woman. She had to of been. She raised four children and I’m sure she will be missed by much of her family . I’m sorry for your loss.
