Terry Wayne Hester, age 67, of Florence, Alabama, passed away June 17, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center. Visitation will be Thursday night, July 1, 2021 from 5-7 pm at Williams Funeral Home and a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Hershel Hester.
Survivors include his mother, Nell Fuller Hester; son, Matthew Hester; sisters, Nancy Hester Butler and Martha Hester; nieces, Summer Kaye Hester (Anthony Leland), Caroline Butler Kelley (John); great nephews, Cole Kelley, Carson Kelley and Anthonio Leland; great niece, Lavender Leland; grandchild, Connor Hester.
Terry was a Drug and Alcohol Specialist in the United States Army and also assembled nuclear weapons. He enjoyed listening to music, cooking and grilling. His favorite pastime was working in his plants and vegetables.

We had a lot of great times together. Terry was a special part of my life at one time. I have so many good memories of our times together. Terry introduced so many musical artists to me starting with Elton John. The one and only time I saw him live you took me to Nashville to see him in high school. You will be missed.
