  1. I worked many years with Dwight and always enjoyed being around him. He was a great fellow ! After he retired I would see him around town enjoying his car and eating out with his buddies. May God bless his family with comfort during this time.

  2. Dwight and I were friends in high school, but I lost contact after I went into the navy. He was an energetic, helpful, and fun person to know. I know that he will be missed by anyone who knew or interacted with him. May he have (as us old sailors say) “fair skies and following seas on his final voyage”. May God grant his family peace and comfort.

  3. Always a smile and a willingness to engage. Singular. Some few people make indelible impressions. Dwight came by it naturally. We will miss him dearly.

  9. I went to school with Dwight and always remember him as friendly with a ready smile. We lost touch over the years and I often wondered how his life turned out. I’m not surprised to learn he was successful and well loved. My heart goes out to those he loved and those who loved him.

  10. Carolyn, we are so sorry to hear about your loss. You have told us some stories about your husbands’ hobbies and other things he did. We will be praying for you and your family in this huge loss of a LOVED ONE

  11. Carolyn – I’m saddened by Dwight’s passing and offer condolences and prayers for all the family. I recall y’all’s beautiful candlelight wedding in December of ’69 and visiting at your apartment in Tuscaloosa St. Dwight’s ready smile or mischievous grin always graced his face. The years have flown by. I just read of Dwight ‘s mom passing. She and Mr Frye were helpful at the LDS library and we learned we were kinfolks thru Waterloo family connections.
Your beautiful family must surely be a blessing. You, Johni and I have great memories from CHS. God be with you
