Sarah L. Wilhite, age 79, of Florence, passed away May 28, 2022. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 2:00 pm– 4:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home.  Funeral will start at 4:00 pm in the chapel with Pastor Jeremy W. Goss officiating, and burial will follow in Central Community.

Mrs. Wilhite was preceded in death by her mother, Lou May; husband, Bobby Dean Wilhite; and son, James Michael Fox.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina Wilhite Isbell (Jeff); grandchildren, Shayna Goss (Jeremy); Erin Powell (Michael), Madison Isbell (Jennifer), Michael Fox (Meagan), Matthew Fox (Chelsea), and Brady Fox (Ann Marie). Additional survivors include her great-grandchildren, Cameron Goss, Addisyn Goss, Kyler Powell, Kadence Williams, Josie Williams, Madison Fox, Macie Kate Fox, Avery Fox, Asher Fox, Julianna Fox, Emmalyn Fox, Abigail Fox, Sarah Ann Campbell, Mary Campbell, and Gunner Campbell; sister, Betty Williams; and dear friend, Carol Evans.

Mrs. Wilhite was a member of Abundant Grace Church, Sheffield. She spent 20 plus years knocking on doors raising money for volunteer fire departments, she was lovingly known as “Picture Lady”.

Serving as pallbearers are Nolan Napier, Matthew Fox, Michael Fulmer, Gregory Robinson, Harold McGee, and Cameron Goss.
