Nancy Sue Fritts Age 83, of Florence, AL, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 11, 2022. She was born July 7,1939 in Florence AL. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Oden McPeters and Ora Lee Gamble McPeters; brother, Earl McPeters; and husband of 53 years, Wayne Fritts. She is survived by her sister Clara O’Kelley (Robert); sons, Chris Fritts (Janet), Clay Fritts, and Clint Fritts; grandchildren, Ashley Hill (Robert), Blake Fritts (Holly), and Rowan Armstrong; and great grandchildren, Halle and Jordyn Hill, and Ansley and Lilly Fritts. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 14th at 11:00 am at Greenview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Blake Fritts, Robert Hill, Robert O’Kelley, Shawn Curtis, Dwayne Davis, and Michael Mathews.

Sincere condolences to the family of Mrs Fritts. I recall her many kindnesses to my dear friend, Ophelia, who worked for the Fritts family. I often brought her to work in the Fritts home. Mrs Nancy never hesitated to lend a helping hand to the late Ophelia and her girls, for that I will forever remember her good deeds. To her sons, Ophelia loved you as if you were her own, bless you today.
