Mary Elizabeth Overton Gray, age 81, of Sheffield, passed away January 30, 2023.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 4, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow   at Sheffield Oakwood.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William N. Gray; daughter, Candace Lynn Gray; father, Edward Overton; mother, JoKate Overton; and sister, Margaret Lawson.

Survivors include her children, Anna Maria Hart and William Gray “Bubba” (Amy); grandchildren, Lauren, Megan, Justin and Rachel; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Candy and Avery; cousins, Betty Perry and Kathy Cooper; and friends, Mike and Judy Logan and Denel Wardell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation.

Mrs. Gray, prior to her passing wrote “Thank you to Bubba for being here and taking care of me, and Dee for always coming when I call.”
