Constance “Connie” Marveline Thomas, age 92, of Muscle Shoals, passed away April 27, 2023. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 2, from 5:00 –7:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The funeral will be held at Cox Blvd. Church of Christ in Sheffield, on Wednesday, May 3, at 2:00 p.m., with Larry Kilpatrick and Tom Gosser officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. 0n Wednesday. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Thomas; son, Roger Thomas; daughter-in-law, Tina Thomas; and parents, Henry and Myrtle Birdwell.
Survivors include her sons, Skipper Thomas (Pam) and Mike Thomas; daughter-in-law, Patrisha Thomas; brothers, Wick Birdwell (Lucy) and Ed
Birdwell (Diane); sister, Frances Birdwell; grandchildren, Kristie Woodfin (Tommy), Tonya Hayes (David), Skylar McClellan, and Garrett Thomas
(Nikki); and great-grandchildren, Logan, Cody, Mason, Sidney, Cora, Marlee, Caden, Collin and Allison.
She was a member of Cox Blvd. Church of Christ in Sheffield.
The family would like to thank Hospice of North Alabama and caretakers,
Wanda, Angie, Sharon, Dub and Anna.

I am so proud of meeting her and taking care of her she was a sweet sweet lady we had good times and laughters RIP Mrs Connie
Connie was one of our dearest family friends. She was so much fun and always there for us.

I just found out that Connie passed. She was my Grandparents neighbor and friend for most of my life. I am so sorry to hear the news. I know that Ruth, Mirt and Connie are sitting on a porch swing together up in heaven.
