  1. She will be missed by many and she had a long life, with all kinds of wonderful memories…I loved her laughter…🙏🙏🙏♥️🐝

  2. Maw loved everyone and everyone loved Maw. They don’t make them like Maw anymore. To her whole family you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. The Howard family was a fixture in my childhood. Mrs. Howard had amazing energy and was always busy cooking food that smelled divine, or was sewing and caring for her family. I thought so much of her and I know that she will be missed terribly.

  4. The Howard family was a fixture in my childhood having grown up on the same street. Mrs. Howard had such amazing energy; she was always filling that home with meals for her family that smelled divine, or was busy sewing or taking care of her family. She was full of life and laughter and I know that she will be terribly missed.

  5. Oh what a tremendous legacy of love this sweet soul has left to family and friends! What precious memories I cherish of happy hours spent in her home and being loved by her. She had the cutest giggle and was always concerned about checking how you were doing. She was my Mother’s best friend. They cared for each other during widowhood and shared a great love for the Lord and His work. I feel confident my parents were waiting with Carlin and Connie at the pearly gates to welcome her and hear those words “Well done, thou good and faithful servant. . . I will be with you today in spirit, love and prayers as you celebrate such a blessed Mother and Maw. I loved her dearly ~ and love each of you!

  6. Sad for your loss. I remember her well. Always liked going to her house back in the day. Would chase the ice cream truck around her neighborhood.
We did not have ice cream trucks in Arkansas. Very sweet lady.

  7. My heart breaks for all the Howard family. Maw was truly one in a million. I loved to hear her truly genuine laughter. It would lighten anyone’s spirit and make you join in. Her giving nature, devotion to God, and understanding of what true friendship means were just a few of her many wonderful qualities.

Her steadfast friendship with Memaw, Polly, endured until the day The Lord called my Memaw home. One of my absolute favorite pictures of her and Memaw was during Covid, when they decided an epidemic wouldn’t keep them apart. The rebels met at Memaw’s house and hugged each other like long lost sisters. There are photos with both tears and laughter of that moment.

Maw also went to Virginia with Memaw, my daughter and myself. It’s a trip we still talk and laugh about to this day. Maw, at a spry 80 years old went down the Mountain Slidewinder at Dollywood with my daughter and I. If you’ve never ridden it, Google the video. This was not for the faint of heart. Maw screamed and laughed the whole way down. She absolutely loved it and we loved her for her sense of adventure.

I could go on and on with Maw stories. I believe many of us could. She was deeply loved by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. I know where she is now, and I suspect that she’s playing cards or tri-ominoes with some of her dearest friends right now.

Fly high, Maw. Although this world is a little less bright without you in it, heaven is shining more brightly.

  8. So sorry for your loss. Eva Nell was such a precious soul. I enjoyed every interaction I ever had during my many years at Cox Blvd. I know she is having a reunion in heaven with my parents. She loved my dad and he felt the same. They would joke with each other after service and at all the Senior activities.

  9. My condolences to the family! My mom Alta Allen Balentine always talked about
The good times she had with Mrs Eva Nell in their younger days.
