William Thomas Thompson, age 73, of Florence, passed away September 18, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, September 22, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home with the funeral starting at 1:00 and Brother Sonny Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his parents, Ottis Marcus and Adine Thompson.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years, Wilma Thompson; son, Dewayne Thompson (Melinda); siblings, James Thompson (Diane), Ottis Thompson, Jr. (Gina), Roy Thompson (Beth), and Frances Daniel (Roger). Additional survivors include grandchildren, Whitney Wigginton (Jake), Marcus Thompson (Olivia), and Courtney McLemore (Krissy); great-grandchildren, Jaxon Nichols, Kyler Thompson, Ryleigh Wigginton, and Kayden Thompson.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
