Elda Lou Krehbiel Harper age 89 of Florence passed on October 25, 2023.  Memorial Services will be announced later and will take place in Roosevelt, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Paul Krehbiel.

Lou is survived by and known as “Mama Lou” by one son Steven Donald and wife Mary Jane, one daughter Vicki Kathryn and husband Tom Gillis. She was Grammy to her grandchildren:  Juanita and Brian Pearce, Anthony and Cinda Harper, Joshua Harper, James and Vanessa Harper.  She has 17 great grandchildren, at last count, 6 great, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Elda Lou was born in 1933 and was raised on her parents’ farm north of Cooperton, OK.  After high school, she attended Cameron College in Lawton, OK where she met and married A.D. Harper, the love of her life.  In addition to her family, Lou loved jazz music and a good basketball game.
