Ricky Lynn Hyde, age 69, of Florence, passed away Friday, December 7, 2023. A memorial visitation will be Monday, December 11th from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Neal and Frances Irene Cole Hyde; wife, Janice Richardson Hyde; paternal grandparents, Robert Claude and Ola Bolan Hyde; maternal grandparents, Lowell L. and Rena B. Melson Cole; dear friend, Gaye Pratt.

Rick loved his family most, especially his girls, RoxAnna and Jessica. He loved talking to his neighbors and sharing his quick wit with everyone he met. He could always be found working in the yard and enjoyed walking and being outdoors. God was always the center of his life and he spent many hours listening to Dr. Charles Stanley preach. Vestal Goodman also held a special place in his heart and he loved hearing her sing gospel music.
We would like to give a special thanks to his care team at NAMC and the staff and his friends at DaVita at Dr. Hicks. Thank you sincerely for taking such good care of our dad. He loved you all dearly.
In-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Kidney Fund or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

RoxAnna & Jessica,
This is Brian and Rita (Black) Culbreath… I am Nell’s youngest daughter. With heartfelt condolences, we are so sorry about your dad. He is just a couple of years older than me. The grace of God will strengthen you during this difficult time🙌
Jessica and RoxAnna,
