Betty Lue Vickery of Florence passed away December 31, 2023, at age 73. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 2nd from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, January 3rd starting at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by ministers Dennis Hanvey and Ronnie McKissack. A burial will follow in the Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Tim Daniel, Bradley Daniel, Ben Davis, Roger Vickery, Dewayne Vickery, and Tim Holt.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Dell and Lillie Mae Holt as well as brother, Joe Holt.

She is survived by husband of 58 ½ years, Frankie Vickery. Children Teresa Daniel (Tim) and Mike Vickery (Angie). Brother, Raymond Holt, and sisters, Mary Darby and Ruth Leard. Additional survivors include two grandchildren, Bradley and Brittney Daniel and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved and worshiped God at the Christian Faith Church in Cloverdale. She enjoyed hobbies such as traveling, camping, and spending time with precious family members.
