Jerry Wayne Edwards, age 58, of Florence, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 23rd from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. A private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Gladys Hollins.
Survivors are his wife, Lisa Edwards; children, Ciarra Edwards ( Fiance` Adam) and Skyler Edwards (girl friend Hannah); maternal mother-in-law, Delane and Mary Whitaker.
Jerry worked for Tennessee River and TNT for several years and was a part of multiple recreational activities including sports, outdoor activities, and horse events.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Whitaker, Terry Whitaker, Justin Whitaker, Josh Whitaker, Bart Hill, John Fulmer, Chris Balentine, Robert Pollard, John Blasingame, David Wesson, Colby Wesson, Anthony Arnold, Bob Schroeder, Keith Dodd, Steve Forsythe, Joey Daugherty, and Bo Masonia.
In-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family or the funeral home.

So very sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. We will never forget him and all the laughter he brought to our lives. I’m sure he’s making all the angels, including John Wayne, laugh too.
