Suzanne “Suzie” Kasmeier Carroll, age 62, of Florence, Alabama passed away January 21, 2024. A celebration of life will be held at Killen Senior Citizen Center in Killen, Al on Saturday, Feb. 3, from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harley and Avery Canerday Taylor and John B. and Katherine Grossheim Kasmeier.
Suzie is survived by her sons, Clay Carroll and Joe E. Carroll (Sylvia); grandchildren, Aliyah and Charlie Carroll, Eli and Olivia Carroll; father, Charles “Chip” Kasmeier; mother, Frances Taylor Kasmeier; siblings, Tony Kasmeier (Cathy), Carmen Miles (Hurshel), Cheri Kasmeier, and John Kasmeier (Tina). Additional survivors include nephews, Blake, Joshua, and Stokes Kasmeier; niece, Reece Kasmeier, and special sister by another mothers, Tami Dolan.
Suzie graduated from Rogers High School where she was an avid basketball player. She was a hairdresser for many years before joining the Painters Local 1293 and working at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.
To know Suzie was to love her. Her strong faith, giving heart and compassion for others were admired by all. She was truly a servant for the Lord. She spent so much of her time sewing and used her talents to love on everyone around her. Suzie had a passion for all music and had a very eclectic playlist. Her children and grandchildren held her heart and spending time with them was precious to her. Although she is going to be missed more than words can explain, her legacy will live on forever.

I was so sorry to hear about Suzie. I have always thought a lot of your whole family and so did J.B. before he left this world. I know this will leave a huge whole in each of your hearts. My thoughts and prayers 🙏 are with you all
