Mary Alice Swindle Holder, age 88, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Visitation will be Friday, February 16^th from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 3:30 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother A.G. Stepp officiating. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Park.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Hattie Swindle; husband, Jr. Holder; siblings, Rebel Stockton, Eupel Wells, Doyle Swindle, and Kathleen Stepp; granddaughter, Kristina Shepherd.

Survivors are her children, Danny Holder, Terry Holder (Vickie), and Carol Shepherd (Derek); siblings, Nellie Patterson and Odell Swindle; grandchildren, Chad Holder (Cory), Allison Drake, Jordan Harper (Kimberly), Tiffany LeFevre (Jeff), Brady Holder (Kayla), Alexandria Pena (Alex), Gresham Shepherd (Emily); great-grandchildren, Corgan, Hadi, Walker, Fletcher, Everleigh, Madalyn, Jase, Jude, Anastasia, Shepherd, Sawyer, Scarlett and baby Harper on the way.

She was a member of Lee Heights Baptist Church of Florence. In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dementia Society of America or Lee Heights Baptist Church.
