Jay Lando Creasy, 68, of Cherokee, passed away March 12, 2024. Visitation will be Saturday, March 16 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Florence. The service will start at 2:00 pm with Patrick Gunn officiating and burial will follow in Harris Chapel, North Pike, Cherokee.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lando and Mary Creasy; previous wife, Betty Creasy; children, Jessica, and Adam Creasy; brothers, Dennis and Billy Creasy.
Jay is survived by his wife Kathy Creasy; children, Jason (Holly), Ashley (Randy), Clarissa (Dalton), Jaycob (Annie); sister, Marilyn McAfee. Additional survivors include grandchildren Elizabeth, Kimberly, Shawn, Baily, Aaliyah, Lindsey, Grayson, Myleigh, Declyn, Maycee, Reyna, Novalee, Lando, Kartyr, Jaspyr, Oliver, and Austin; great-grandchild Camron; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; and beloved friends; and family.
Jay was an avid hunter and fisher.
Serving as pallbearers are Jimmy Creasy, Jacob Creasy, Josh Singleton, Mikey Singleton, Austin Creasy, and Shannon Creasy. Jared Creasy is an honorary pallbearer.
