Courtney Vivian Staggs age 39 of Florence will have a Celebration of Life
Memorial Service on Friday, May 31 at 2:00 P.M.at Williams Funeral Home
chapel, with visitation from 1:00 P.M. till service time at 2:00 P.M.

Courtney Vivian Barrett Staggs of Florence Al was born on May 18,1985 to
Jeffrey and Roxanne Sharp Barrett of Waterloo Al.

She was proceeded in death by her paternal grandparents Clarence and
Floy Vivian Barrett, who she was named after. Also proceeding her are
maternal grandparents Roy and Artie Sharp of Waterloo.

She is survived by her husband William Staggs Jr of Florence. Daughters
Katori Edmondson, Nyjai Barrett, Laikyn Staggs, Jayla Staggs and one
stepdaughter, Aundrea (Brooke) Staggs. One brother Jeffrey (Buddy)
Barrett. Two sisters Shawnda Martin (Paul), Destiny Harville. One
granddaughter, Miriam Mayala Donkoh. A very special friend and mentor,
Freddy Roy. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

At a young age Courtney had a love for music, she had the ability to pick
up any instrument and learn to play instantly. She spent many hours in the
studio making music with her beloved uncle, Jack Sharp who also shared
her love and talent for music. She was never more than a step away from
her grandmother, always finding them galivanting at the thrift store or
travelling to places such as North Dakota and Canada to share their love of
music with others.

Courtney loved children and was the babysitter for numerous families in
Waterloo and the Shoals area. Courtney had a passion for helping others
and often bringing them home to feed and give them a warm place to rest.

Courtney lived her life to the fullest, she had a quote she lived by.

Courtney will be greatly missed.
