Ellis O’Neal Letson, age 69, of Florence, passed away July 13, 2024.  Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home of the Shoals.  The funeral will start at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel with Willie Staggs officiating.  Burial will take place at Shaw cemetery in Leighton (Colbert County).  Serving as pallbearers are Anthony West, Quinton West, Shelby Letson, Kaleb Letson, Cody Letson and Tomas Gargis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Betty Letson; son, Chad Letson; brothers, Randy Letson and Eddie Letson; and sisters; Libbie Stafford and Judy Travis.

Ellis is survived by his children, Melissa Letson, Howard Letson (Annette), Chase Olmsted (Jessica) and Kimberly Hurtodo (Chivo). Additional survivors include grandchildren, Anthony West, Quniton West, Chadleah Letson, Journee Letson, David Kilpatrick, Christopher Kilpatrick, Mia Hurtado, Addisyn Hurtado, Silvestra Hurtado, Aiden Olmsted, Skye Phillips, Isaiah Olmsted, Jaxtyn Rhodes and Alexa Palmer; and ten great-grandchildren.
