Tommy Lee Smith, age 91, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Visitation will be Thursday, August 22st from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Florence Blvd Church of Christ. The service will follow at 2:00 pm at the church with Brother Austin Johnson officiating. Burial will be Friday, August 23nd at 11:00 am at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Polly Smith; son, Tony Lee Smith; granddaughter, Joy Lee White; brothers, Alvin and Wilbur Smith; sisters, Grace Martin, Christine Spears, Pauline Mabry, Irene Hendrix, Jeanette Kilburn, Geneva Palmer and Alta Osborn.
Survivors are his wife, Martha Palmer Smith; daughter, Sandra Smith White (Keith); sister, Betty Joyce Smith Tripp; grandchildren, Brian White (Catassa), Carissa White, and Rachael Smith Karnes, (Chris); great-grandchildren, Cayson Saint, Brayden White, and Lucas White; numerous nieces and nephews.
Tommy was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in the Korean War. He loved to fish and was a member of Florence Blvd Church of Christ.
