Dennis Leon Lawson, 66, of Florence, passed away September 7, 2024. Visitation will be Monday, September 9, at Williams Funeral Home from 11:00 – 1:00 pm with the service starting at 1:00 pm and Robert Marks officiating. Burial will follow in Rogers Chapel Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Aquilla Lawson; sons, Jonathon Lawson, David Lawson, Christopher Lawson; brothers, Donald Vickery, Frank Lawson; grandchildren, Jacob Brinks and Daniel Benson.

Dennis is survived by his children, Kenny Lawson (Angela), Melissa Benson (Derrick), and Michael Lawson. Additional survivors include brothers, Danny Lawson, Darryl Lawson; grandchildren, Destiny Lawson, Dalton Benson, Gracie Reeves; and the mother of his children, Judy Lawson.

Dennis enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, and everything outdoors.
