Derek Cain Todd, 36, of Tuscumbia, passed away October 3, 2024. Visitation will be Monday, October 7th 10:00 – 12:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in Vandiver Hollow Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Lee Todd, Jr.; grandparents, Woodrow and Rosie (Guthrie) Roden, Raymond and Barbara Todd, Sr.; aunt and uncle, David and Debra (Roden) Hamm; uncle, Marshell “Terry” Wooten; aunts, Regina Roden, Tammy Todd.
Derek is survived by the mother of his children, and the love of his life, Theresha Winborn; sons, Sebastian Cole Todd, Cain Clay Todd; best friend, hero, his everything, and loving mother, Latricia Todd; his hero and his brother, Dustin Todd. Additional survivors include uncles, Kenny Roden, Douglas Roden, Thomas Roden (Tammy), and Mike Todd; aunt, Rebecca England; first cousins, David “Moe” Hamm (Stephanie), Tara Fifth (Jeremy), Ashley Hamm, Amanda Terry (Pruitt), Andrea Williford (Dustin), Kasey Roden, Andrew Roden, Emma Roden, Abby Roden; James Todd, Jonathan Todd, Jennifer England, Kristen England; goddaughter, Maci Bates; a lot of special cousins; great-aunt, Mary Edna Hunt; best friend, Timothy Moore.
Everyone that knew Derek knew he had a heart of gold and had respect for anyone he met.
