Kenneth “Kace” Carmack Franks III, age 35, of Florence, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 20th at 2:00 pm at St. Florian Park Shelter.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Laurie A. Burns; maternal grandparents, Chris and Christine Burns; paternal grandparents, Kenneth Franks, Sr., Joyce and Yeat Stutts.
Survivors are his father, Kenneth C. Franks, Jr.; stepmother, Rita Franks; maternal grandmother, Patricia Burns; sister, Allison Franks; stepsiblings, Maleah Moss (Dallas) and Ethan Smith (Emily); aunt, Cynthia Franks.
Kace was a 2007 graduate of Florence High School, attained a B.S. degree at Birmingham Southern College in 2011 and was employed with L.P. Brown Company in Florence, Alabama. He enjoyed playing golf and disc golf.

I’m so sorry for the loss is Kace. I remember him coming to Corinth with his parents, sister to Patricia’s parents house many Christmas Eve’s . He would always read the Christmas story to us. My heart goes out to Kenny, Allison, Patricia and all who loved him.
