Dervard “Big D” Rikard, age 84, of Florence, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024. Visitation will be Saturday, December 21^st from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Brother Austin Johnson officiating. The Pallbearers will be Eric Rikard, John Kimbrough, Steve Clark, Mark Willingham, Brian McManus, and Ken Vanhorn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Travis and Annie Landers Rikard; sister, Roberta Rikard.

Survivors are his loving wife of 58 years, Rumel Clark Rikard; sons, Paul Kerry Rikard (Debra) and Eric Lee Rikard; grandchildren, Salina and Levi; 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Big D graduated at Belgreen High School and Freed Hardeman Christian College and was employed and retired with Reynolds Alloys. He was a U.S Navy Veteran, and a member of Florence Boulevard Church of Christ. He was an avid fisherman. A special thanks to Dr. Robert Mann for years of dedicated care.
