Nancy E. Boothe, age 60, of Sheffield, passed away April 19, 2025. Visitation will be Thursday, April 24 at Williams Funeral Home from 12:00pm until 1:30pm. The graveside service will follow at 2:00pm in Guy Cemetery – Tuscumbia, Alabama. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
She is preceded in death by her father Ralph Pitts, her mother Lela Chaney, and her brother Ronnie Aday.
Nancy is survived by three sons, Thomas J. Hymans II, Timathe Joseph Hymans, and Lelan Craig Boothe; brothers, Ricky Lee Robinette, and Kenneth Aday; sisters, Callie Perry, Julie Simbeck, and Debra Ann Stark. Additional survivors include grandchildren, Madeline Faith Hymans, MacKenzie Horton, and Wyatt Horton; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nancy.. Nancy was a bright light in my life. She taught me how to cook everything at the cafe. She was funny and loving and hard working. Nancy and Julie would tag team me and we shared so many big laughs together. My happiest cafe memories include Nancy. (I know who the boss is.haha). As it happens when you’re not together working everyday, you drift, but Nancy always holds a dear place in my heart. I hope she’s whole now..I hope she’s singing, dancing and laughing.
