Jacky Tyler Thigpen, age 33, of Florence, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025. Visitation will be Sunday, May 18th, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The celebration of life will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tim Grigsby and Brother David Byrd officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Randall Vickery, Rick Snider, Brady Holder, Dalton Parker, Kenneth Buttrum, John Clemmons, Mark Roden, Joey Tyra, and Ryan Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jacky H. Thigpen; mother, Rosey Thigpen;
Survivors are his loving wife of 10 years, Katherine Thigpen; sons, Connor and Everett Thigpen; sisters, Angela Rogers and Amanda Jackson (Jerrod).
Tyler coached Greenhill Youth baseball, softball, football, and loved watching the kids grow and learn. He loved spending time with his boys and coaching them on the field. His family was more important than anything in his life. He was an avid Alabama football fan.
