William “David” Herston age 69 of Florence passed away on July 14, 2025. Visitation and service will be held at Williams Funeral Home on Friday, July 18, 2025. Visitation will be from 9:30am till 11:00am with services in the chapel at 11:00am with Mike Crews officiating. Family and friends will be pallbearers.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Audrey Herston.  And two brothers: Ted and Gerald Herston.

David is survived by his wife Jacqueline Herston of 41years.  His daughter, Kelsey Michelle Bjork (Jade). And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

David was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Florence.  He served us in the United States Army.  He loved meeting new people and talking about the Lord. One of the things he dearly enjoyed was playing the Courier Journal’s game day score card. He was a huge Alabama fan.
