With aching hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Camille, who left us after a brief illness. Camille lived her life with a tenderness and generosity that touched everyone lucky enough to know her. A devoted vegan with a deep love for all living things, she moved through the world with quiet compassion, always giving more than she ever asked for in return.
Camille is deeply missed by her Mom, Johanna Dollar, fiancé, Michael “Cole” Holt, her brother, Jacob Greider, and sister-in-law, Dennissee, her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. Her giving heart, her laughter, and her instinct to care for others leave a legacy far larger than her years.
True to who she was, Camille wished for no formal memorial service. Instead, her family will honor her request by encouraging those who knew and loved her to come together simply as friends—sharing stories, warmth, and good times in her memory. That is how Camille would want to be remembered: in joy, connection, and community.
Without Camille, there is less goodness in the world. In lieu of condolences, please honor her memory by picking up some of the slack left behind – show a bit more kindness and consideration in the face of difficult situations. Hug your animals, Love your friends.
May her kindness continue to ripple outward, and may we all carry a little of Camille’s light with us.

My family had the good fortune of hosting Camille, Jacob and Dennissee in Austin over Memorial Day. We are so greatful we saw how happy she was, how excited she was to plan her wedding, and share our mutual love of dogs and music. We have all been stunned by her passing and it’s heartbreaking to think of her loss to those who loved her. Wishing everyone much peace and space during this sad time. Karen
This makes me so sad. Camille was a sweetheart when I taught her. I loved watching her (through social media) turn into the amazing spirit I knew her to be. My heart goes out to Jacob and her mom. I remember Jacob and Camille with so much fondness. ❤️ MEK
I’m so sad to read of Cami’s death. I was her kindergarten teacher and remember her just as the obituary is written. She really did represent true kindness. Many prayers for her family and friends.🙏🏻
I got to know Camille on her visit to Austin. What a delightful person! And taken so, so early… that is truly sad…
