Roy Whitten Roberts, Jr. age 78, of Florence, passed away Thursday, December 4^th.  A memorial visitation only will be held on Sunday, December 14^th from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. Come celebrate the life of Mr. Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Whitten Sr, and Geralmina Sorrentino Roberts; siblings, Dottie Jean Roberts McDonald and Jeanette Roberts Linville.

Survivors are his loving wife of 56 years, Annette Roberts; children, Michael Brian Roberts (Carol), Kimberly Ann Wilson (Davin), and Emily Jo Cole (Chris); siblings, Helen Greer (Lee), Teresa Roberts, Mary Littlejohn (Wayne), and Connie Jenkins; grandchildren, Zachary Roberts, Wyatt Roberts, Skylar Jones (Tony), Shelbi Sandy (Troy), Ashton Wilson (Kaden), Hayden Roberts, and Matthew Cole; great-grandchildren, Israel Jones, Scarlett Jones, and Isabella Sandy.

Roy was retired with Reynolds Metals for over 50 years of service and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.
