Milinea Audean Michael, age 99, of Florence, passed away December 9, 2025. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, beginning 12:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home. A private graveside will follow.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dalton B Michael and her oldest son Danny Joe Michael, sisters, Flora Lee, Nellie Layfield, Hazel Oaks, and Elna McGee and her brother, Thomas Elton McAdams.

She is survived by her sons Roger Michael (Jackie) and Craig Michael (Regina); daughter, Frances Regina Hunter; twelve grandchildren along with eighteen great-grandchildren.

Her greatest joy was in raising her children and helping her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and learn.

Milinea was a member of Weeden Heights Baptist Church. She loved helping other and always took great strength and comfort in her faith and God’s Word.

Milinea dedicated many years to working at Sears and later retired from the Florence store.

The family would like to express their appreciation to all the wonderful and supportive friends she had throughout the years. She loved you very much and enjoyed talking about the wonderful times she had with you.

They would also like to thank the kind people at Mitchell Hollingsworth with special thanks to those of station 2, and the kitchen staff and her care team from Preferred Hospice.

One of her favorite scriptures was Psalm 19:14.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
