Paul Edward Hanback, age 78, of Sheffield, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 10th from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Old Macedonia Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Donia Hanback, sister, Lola H. Palmer and Faye C. Bailey.
Survivors are his brother, David L. Hanback (Barbara), his nephews, Shane Palmer, Chris Hanback, and Michael Bailey, nieces, Laura Clemmons, Anne Bailey, and Heather Matlock.
Paul was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Carpenters’ local 109. He loved traveling, fishing, and spending time with family.
