James Phillip Peck, age 69, of Florence, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 11^th from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brothers Ashley Pettus and Stan Dean officiating. Pallbearers are Butch Morris, Brad Morris, Phillip Gooch, Pat Wachter, David Murks, and Shawn Murphy. Interment will be at Peck Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bunk and Barbara Peck; sisters, Dana Cooper, and Jana Hunt; brother, Greg Peck.

Survivors are his son, Jordan Peck; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Phillip was a member of Center Star Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Brooks High School in 1974 and retired with Murks Pest Control for over 30 years.
