Philip Paul Rodi, age 87, of Florence Alabama passed away on April 13th, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 19th at Williams Funeral Home in the Chapel. Family will receive friends and family from 12:00pm in until 1:00 pm.
Survivors are his loving Wife; Michele Rodi, Children; Jim Rodi (Karen), Pete Rodi (Veta) , Joe Rodi (Cyndi) Scott Rodi (Tara) Christine Bosler (Marshall) Grandchildren; Megan Bishop, DJ Rodi, Chase Rodi, Tad Rodi, Easton Rodi, Adam Ging, Justin Rodi, McKenna Rodi, Jordan Rodi, Vaughna Rodi, Riley Bosler, and Lexi Bosler, Great-grandchildren; Mila, Tate, Tucker Bishop, Jace and Kennedy Rodi, Collins and Tays Rodi, and Blayke Rodi.
Phil found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially time spent on the golf course and moments shared with those he loved most.
The family wants to acknowledge and extend a special thank you Gentiva Hospice nurses, and staff for the knowledgeable and professional care. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory by donating to The Shriners Hospital for Children.

I first ‘met’ Phil when I heard his daughter,Christine, talking to him on the phone laughing & enjoying each other. I knew then he was a great dad. Christine is now my amazing daughter-in-law. The devotion and love she has for my son & their children is a result of the complete dedication to family he & Michele shared and passed on. Phil was a great guy & friend. He will leave a hole in a lot of people’s hearts, including mine. Rest in peace, Phil.
