William Earl Glaze age 87, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, May 6th 2026. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 9th from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Brother Aron Risley officiating. Burial will be at Hale cemetery. Pallbearers are Matthew Glaze, Corey Holden, Dylan Johnson, Eric Vaughn, Jason Glaze, Jonathan Glaze, Jamie Bobo, and Floyd Glaze, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Blanche Glaze; brothers, Walton, David, Robert, Haywood, and Jimmy Glaze; sister, Charity Vinson; son, James W. Glaze; daughter, Serenna Ivey; grandchildren, Justin Holden and Megan Glaze.
Survivors are his children, Loretta Norman (Matt); Leon Glaze, Randy and Tim Yarbrough, Teresa Johnson (Eric), and Sonya Pace; grandchildren, Corey, Shyanne, Dylan, Matthew, Makenzie, Marissa, Tiffany, Jessica and Bubba; brothers, John Glaze (Denise) and Floyd Glaze; sister, Betty bobo; many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
