Linda Joan Patterson, age 74, of Florence, Alabama, passed away on May 10, 2026. Services will be held privately at family’s request. Williams Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her father Oscar Parker, her brother Ricky Parker, and sister Carol Medley.
Linda is survived by her mother Mary Lou Behel Parker. One daughter, Audrey Hunsinger. One grandchild, Olivia Hunsinger. Her amazing lifelong friends and her special nieces Meritta Parker and Lacey Pace.
The family would like to express a very special thank you to North Alabama Medical Center (NAMC) ICU team, Hospice of the Shoals and Brittany Hill and her girls from Hill’s Helping Hands.

Sorry for your loss of Linda; She was such a sweet and caring person.
Anyone who met her had to love her!!! She was so wonderful to everyone. She will be missed.
I met Linda when Audrey attended Waterloo Elementary School. She was a wonderful asset to our school and my classroom. Audrey, I will keep you in my prayers and I pray your memories bring warmth to your heart.

Linda was a dear friend. She taught me how to do counted cross stitch. I will forever be grateful to her for this and for the many acts of friendship and kindness she showed me. I loved her deeply.
