Adrian A. Craver age 99 of Florence, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Mr. Craver will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. with Military Honors and Father Charles Derring celebrating the Mass.  Burial will be at St. Francis in Cressor, PA, at a later date.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline P. Galiffa Craver. His parents Austin and Gertrude Craver. Siblings: Walter, Dolores, Beatrice, Austin, and Gertrude. Son-in-law Anthony Kost, and great grandson Corey.

Adrian is survived by his children: Barbara Fleck (Terry), Susan Bell, Janice Kost, Karen Pentz (Mahlon), and Alan J Craver (Brent). Sister Regina “Jeanie” Watt. Seven grandchildren: Christine Bodenschatz, Eric Fleck, Joshua Pentz, Nichole Ford, Brian Kost, Zachary Zettle and Adam Kost. Ten great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Phoebe, Chloe, Reilley, Aidan, Cody, Liberty, Josh Jr., Jake and Alyson. Seven great-great grandchildren: Ryker, Mari, Addi, Kinsley, Karley, Kolby and Kasey. As well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Terry Fleck, Mahlon Pentz, Jonathan Koskey and John Foust. Honorary Pallbearers are Francis Farrar, Gabe Mena and Randy Hankins.

Adrian is a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and American Legion, Post 11. Adrian spent his life quietly serving God and helping others. He loved his family and had strong core values. He taught his children by example. With his loving “Carolyn” they raised five children, enjoyed traveling and hosting family get togethers.  Adrian proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as an infantry man during World War II and the Korean War. He was the recipient of the Army Occupation Medal (Japan), Asian Pacific Theater Ribbon and World War II Victory Ribbon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society and/ or the American Legion Post 11.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the caring new friends Adrian made at Mitchell-Hollingsworth and all who’ve lent their helping hands throughout his final years.
