Sharon Louise Matthews, age 76, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, Jaune 27, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evelyn Matthews; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hickman.

Survivors are her daughters, Donna Morgan (Kent) and Amber Tidwell (Arlette); sisters, Diana McColley and Deborah Mathews -Smith; grandchildren, Ryan and Dustin Pollard; nieces, Tyheshia Smith-Kruk  and Kimberly Mathes.

Sharon retired from E.C.M hospital as a register nurse and worked with Marion County hospital in Hamilton, Alabama. She was known for her attention to detail and compassion as a hospital nurse and her devotion to her family. She was thankful for the friends who cared for her and enjoyed life with her. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
