William “Bill” Henry Vance, age 91, of Florence, passed away July 20, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday, July 22, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral will be Monday, July 23, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Moody Chapel Cemetery, Altoona, AL. Mr. Vance was a WWII veteran in the US Navy. He owned and operated the Corner Drug Store for 30 years and was a Master Mason with Masonic Lodge #338. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Florence. Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Dot Vance; son, Ronald Max Vance and wife, Jennifer; grandson, Stephan Vance and wife Lynnesee; and great-grandson, Sawyer.
