Hollis Edward Rhodes, age 80, of Florence, passed away February 11, 2022. Visitation will be Monday, at Williams Funeral Home from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with service starting at 1:00 pm and Bro. David Gregg officiating. Burial will follow in Riverbend Cemetery. Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Wright; parents, Oliver and Edna Rhodes; sons, Jimmy Wright, Eugene Wright, Ronnie Wright, J.L. Wright and Jerry Wright; daughters, Sue Hill and Sandra Hipps; brothers, Paul Rhodes and Jerry Rhodes; sisters, Elaine Haithcoat and Brenda White.
Survivors include his daughter, Glenda Gilchrist (David); brothers, Terry Rhodes, Eugene Rhodes (Sallie-Jo), Myrlan Rhodes (Betty), Gary Rhodes (Brenda), and Jimmy Holt (Pam); sisters, Glaydes Lawson and Wanda Carter; multiple grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
