Marcia Jo Wood, age 67, of Florence, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023. There are no services planned at this time.
She is preceded in death by her father, Hurshel Johnson; mother, Carrie Edna Hand Johnson; brothers Jimmy Wayne and Freddie Johnson; and her twin sister.
Marcia is survived by her husband of 5 years, James “Jim” R. Wood, and numerous friends.
She grew up in Phil Campbell and later moved to Russellville. She enjoyed caring for others, being around her friends, and her church family. Marcia loved spending time with her husband and enjoyed cooking. She and Jim spent a lot of time watching movies. Marcia was a pet lover. You may send condolences at wfunerals.com
