Rosa Martinez, age 58, of Florence, Alabama passed away November 6, 2021. Visitation will be Monday, November 8, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm with funeral starting, 7:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home, Florence, Alabama.

Rosa was born in Mante City, Mexico to Sabas Lopez and Eutimia Martinez, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Jesus Martinez Lopez, Hector Martinez Lopez, and Juan Santiago Martinez Lopez.

She is survived by her daughters, Nallely Delacruz (Juan Carlos Herranz) and Perla De La Cruz; siblings, Maria Adelaida Martinez Lopez, Maria Antonia Martinez Lopez, Maria Isabel Martinez Lopez, Perla Irasema Martinez Lopez, Jose Luis Martinez Lopez, Maria Imelda Martinez Lopez; grandchildren, Adrik Salgado and Eddison Salgado.

Rosa was the most beautiful, tender- hearted, woman and had the brightest smile. She was a single mom and worked extremely hard. She was strong and resilient.  She loved her family dearly. Some of her hobbies were spending time with her precious grandchildren; she always had something delicious baking in the oven, spending time with her brother and an avid member of Emanuel Church. Rosa was always first to help someone in need and everyone felt comfortable talking to her.

Le sobreviven sus hijas, Nallely De La Cruz (Juan Carlos Herranz) y  Perla De La Cruz; hermanos, Maria Adelaida Martinez Lopez, Maria Antonia Martinez Lopez, Maria Isabel Martinez Lopez, Perla Irasema Martinez Lopez, Jose Luis Martinez Lopez, Maria Imelda Martinez Lopez; nietos, Adrik Salgado and Eddison Salgado.

Rosa fue la persona más Hermosa, de Corazón noble con la sonrisa más brillante. Mama soltera, extremadamente trabajadora. Era fuerte y aguerrida. Amaba a su familia firmemente, su pasatiempo era pasar tiempo con su familia. Siempre mantenía pastelitos horneados frescos para compartir, compartir tiempo con sus hermanas y hermanos y era un miembro activo de la iglesia Emmanuel. Rosa era siempre la primera para ayudar a la gente necesitada y la gente se sentía con la confianza de hablarle y pedirle consejo.
