Jimmy Ray Pendergrass Sr., 69, of Florence, passed away December 28, 2023. A memorial service will be Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Broadway Fellowship, 3215 Huntsville Rd,  Florence, Al  with Brother, Ryan Tyler officiating .

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary Pendergrass; grandson, Coby Hines, Hughston-Ray Patterson; brothers, Buck, Pete, and Bit; sisters, Martha Mansell, Debbie Jones, Pat Jones, and Mary Harris.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ina Faye Pendergrass; children, Amanda Rivera (Will), Kristie Patterson (Will), Heather Hines (Josh), and Jimmy Ray Shubert (Nichole). Additional survivors include his sister, Shirley Pigg; grandchildren, Eli Hines, Lane Marlin, Colton Patterson, Phoenix Kirkwood, Deanna Butler, Lorna Hines, Gracelynn Hines; nieces and nephews.

Jimmy enjoyed fishing, wrestling, racing, and football “War Eagle”. He was a member of Broadway Fellowship. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always making people laugh.
