Charles “Chuck” Burns, Jr. age 54, of Florence passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018.

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 1, 12:00 Noon-1:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel.

Chuck worked for the Alabama State Department of Transportation as a Civil Engineer. He loved his family, friends, and church with all his heart. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Doug” Burns, Sr. and younger brother, Darian Lee Burns. Survivors Include: Mother, Mary Joyce Burns; Brother, Van Burns; Daughters, Brittany Burns Nazario and Lydia Burns Green; Grandchildren, Ryker Darian Green, and Sadie Lee and Manuel “William” Nazario.  Special Friend: Susan Limbaugh.  Special thanks to Palliative Care Unit Staff: Rebecca, Amanda, Brandy, and Dr. Webb and CCU Nursing Staff at ECM, Dr. Holden and Dr. Ojo.
