Obituary:
Jennifer “Jenny” Uptain, devoted wife of 16 years to Jake Uptain; loving mother to Austin, age 13, and Karson, age 7; daughter to Debbie Aday and Ernie Aday; sister to Cindy Ingram; special aunt to a host of nieces and nephews; and a friend to all who knew her, passed away Saturday at Huntsville Hospital. Jenny was a pre-k teacher at Our House Daycare and was a faithful member of Leighton Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 27th, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday, August 28th at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Stan Pruitt officiating. Pallbearers are Brian Meeks, Matt Weaver, John Uptain, Greg Woody, Jeramy Woody, and Jay Scott. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Speegle, Ricky Wilson, and Larry Woody. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
