Ed and Jamey, I don’t have words to express how sorry I am to hear of Shirley’s passing. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor and a sweet lady. My heart goes out to you and all the family. Prayers for strength and peace in the days ahead.
It has been more than just a few days ago whenever I played ball with Jamie. There were always a few parents that were always present for our games. The Chaney’s were one set of those parents. There was a lot of games and long road trips over the years, but it seemed as if they were always there. Each and every time I had the pleasure of talking with Ms. Shirley, she always had a smile and an interest in what was going on in my life. Although I haven’t seen her much in the past few years, I am certain that she would have been just as nice as ever. Good people, great Lady.

I am so sorry Edward and Jamey. Shirley was a really wonderful lady. I will never forget her each time I look at that aquarium! She was truly one of a kind and oh so sweet. I know yall will be lost without her. I will pray for peace and comfort during this time. I am sorry I didn’t make it to funeral. Didn’t know about her passing until Wednesday at 10:00 and was too late to get a babysitter. If there is anything Jeff and I can do for yall please let me know. We love yall.
