Charles Emmett Vinson, age 88, of Tuscumbia, passed away December 12, 2019. Visitation will be Monday, December 16, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Bobby Walton officiating. Burial will be at Aycock Cemetery.

Mr. Vinson was a member of the Baptist Faith. He was a wonderful husband and a good Christian Man.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Etta Vinson; sons, Danny Charles Vinson and Johnny Vinson; and brothers, Billy Joe Vinson, Bobby Lee Vinson and Clarence Ed Vinson.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Vinson; and sisters, Jewel (Marley) Wilbanks, Barbara (Terry) Cochran and Brenda Neal (Jerry) Garfield.
